4 leg-of-lamb steaks, 1 inch thick
2 rashers of bacon, diced
¾ cup milk
1¼ teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon tarragon vinegar
1/8 teaspoon pepper
¼ cup minced onion

How To Cook: |
|
|
1. Trim excess fat from steaks.
|
2. Let them stand in milk and vinegar about 1 hour, then remove and dry them well reserve marinade.
|
3. In pan, saute onion, bacon, and steaks until meat is well browned on both sides.
|
4. Sprinkle steaks with salt, pepper; add marinade.
|
5. Simmer, covered for 30 minutes or until meat is tender.
|
6. To serve, pour gravy over the steaks.
