What You Need:

  • 4 3-oz. packages cream cheese
  • ½ cup light or dark raisins
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 2/3 cup packaged dried breadcrumbs
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon grated lemon rind

  • How To Cook:
    1. Combine cheese, egg yolks and sugar; beat until smooth and blended; stir in lemon rind and raisins.

    2. Sprinkle breadcrumbs over half of strudel dough nearest you, and spread cheese filling over crumbs.

    3. Proceed with rolling up strudel.
