1 - 1½ oz sago
1½ pints water
Juice of ½ a lemon
4 oz sugar
1 oz stoned raisins
1 egg
Sherry

How To Cook: |
|
|
1. Put sago into pints boiling water, add lemon juice, sugar stoned raisins, then boil for about 20 minutes, until the grain is transparent.
|
2. Put well-beaten egg into the soup tureen and gradually pour in the sago soup, mixing well.
|
3. Add sherry to taste.
