¾ pound boiled collar bacon
¼ pint milk
¼ pint bacon stock or water
Sauce
A few cooked mushrooms
1 oz butter
2-3 diced cooked beetroot
1 oz plain flour

How To Cook: |

|
1. Cut boiled bacon into small cubes.
|
2. Melt butter, blend in the flour, gradually stir in milk and stock, and cook until sauce thickens.
|
3. Add the mushrooms and bacon, season to taste and heat through.
|
4. Serve with hot beetroot and garnish with chopped parsley.
