This small shell fish, which resembles a miniature lobster, is one of the national dishes of Sweden. The opening of the crayfish season (which starts at the end of the first week in August and continues to the end of September) is celebrated with special parties.

  • Crayfish
  • Dill
  • Salt

  • How To Cook:
    1. To cook crayfish, put them into boiling water, salted and flavored with dill, cook for 6 - 7 minutes, cool in the liquor, and chill before serving.

    2. Dill flower heads are the correct garnish.
