1. Put a large cupful of water into a pan with butter and salt to taste; bring to the boil.

2. Add sieved flour, stirring all the time until the flour is mixed in and cooked.
|
3. Turn the dough on to a floured board and roll out very thinly.
|
4. Prepare a filling of prawns in a thick cream sauce flavored with lemon.
|
5. Cut the pastry into large rounds; place some filling on one half and fold over into a crescent shape.
|
6. Egg and breadcrumb and fry in deep fat.
|
7. Serve at once.
