1 tin stringless beans
½ pound tomatoes
2 oz butter
¾ oz flour
½ lemons
½ pint vegetable extract
Salt and pepper
Sugar
Green dill and green parsley
4 cloves

How To Cook: |
|
|
1. Drain beans and cut into oblique pieces.
|
2. Rinse tomatoes, cut coarsely, simmer with cloves.
|
3. When tender pass tomatoes through sieve, add to beans.
|
4. Blend butter with flour in a frying pan and brown.
|
5. Add some broth, mix with beans, and bring to boil.
|
6. Season to taste with salt, sugar, pepper and lemon juice.
|
7. Sprinkle with dill, parsley and mix thoroughly.
