1 clove of garlic
2 teaspoons olive oil
1 small peeled tomato
1 teaspoon finely chopped onion
¼ pint water
1-2 slices of toasted bread

How To Cook: |
|
|
1. Fry the crushed garlic in the oil until golden, add the sliced tomato and onion and cook until tender; add the water, bring to the boil and simmer for 5 minutes, then season well with salt and pepper.

2. Put the slices of toast in a tureen and pour the liquid over; serve at once.
