What You Need:            (To Serve: 2 - 4)

  • 2 medium-sized onions
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 2 pound of bream (substitute bream for red snapper or sea bass if you can't find it)
  • Lemon
  • Breadcrumbs

  • How To Cook:
    1. Cut onion into rings, and then put these with olive oil into a fireproof dish.

    2. Clean bream and slash several times across the back.

    3. Place a slice of lemon in each slash and lay the fish over the onion.

    4. Season, pour a little more oil over and sprinkle with crumbs.

    5. Cook in a moderately hot oven (400°F) for 30 minutes.
